Our client is an Australian subsidiary which is entering a new phase of growth and is looking for a Senior Business Developer to expand their growth in the Data, Analytics & AI consulting business across Australia.

This strategic leadership role will drive new client acquisition, market positioning, and revenue growth, while working in close collaboration with the CEO and leadership team.

Ideally, you bring an established network across the Data, Analytics and AI ecosystem in Australia and are excited about helping scale a consulting business in a high-growth market.

The Senior Business Developer will find new business, help shape the commercial strategy, strengthen our market presence, and drive sustainable growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business development (80%)
  • Define your hunter-led business development strategy and execute on it
  • Open and grow new strategic enterprise client accounts (tiers 1 and tiers 2)
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers
  • Drive consulting opportunities across Data, Analytics, Cloud, and AI initiatives
  • Partner with consulting and delivery leaders to ensure successful client engagements
  • Structure and scale the commercial capability as the business grows
  • Present market strategy and growth plans to the CEO and leadership team if requested
  • Grow existing accounts that might be attributed to you
  • Track, analyse, and report key business and revenue metrics
  • Participate to events and generate a constant pipeline of meetings per month (20+)

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in consulting and technology services sales
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development (plus account management - consulting sales)
  • Proven track record in enterprise business development
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • An established network across the Data, Analytics and AI ecosystem
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive market expansion
  • Experience building or leading commercial teams
  • Understanding or strong interest in data platforms, analytics, cloud, and AI technologies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a growing consulting environment
